Emily
Hello! Welcome! I hope you're having a good day! I never know what to write on these things. Sit down in front of me and I
can talk your ear off. Ask my brain to do that on paper and suddenly
its D'OH! Hmm, okay, I am a stay at home Mom of two wonderful children,
two cats and one husband...maybe I should say three children... ; P I
love reading. Reading is my escape, stress relief and sleeping pill.
Bookcases, shelves, pretty much every available space, have been filled
with books in every house I've lived. While my favorite genre is
romance, be it paranormal, historical, contemporary, urban fantasy, I
also enjoy science fiction and fantasy. My hopes for this review blog is
to introduce you to new authors and persuade you to try genres you
usually avoid. I used to never read romance novels because I always
thought they were smut novels. Until one fateful day I picked up Julie
Garwood's Saving Grace from the book swap in my Granny's basement
laundry room. I was hooked! The strong, protective male and the
vulnerable yet courageous woman he doesn't want to love. I quickly went
to the library and devoured Nora Roberts, Kathleen Woodiwiss, Jude
Deveraux, Catherine Coulter, Christina Dodd, etc. I don't know who added
Saving Grace to the shelf, but I am forever grateful because
they opened up a whole new world of books for me to get lost in. If I
can do that for someone else through this blog, then I have achieved my
goal.
Please feel free to share your thoughts and recommend some books of your own. I am open to any and all genres and look forward to your suggestions to me, too!
All my best,
Emily
P.S. If you have suggestions for improvements I welcome those, too.

Hey, thanks for stopping
by. I'm the lady on the bus that missed her stop because I was reading.
That actually happened in school. My name is Stacy and I am a mother of
three little monsters and the wife of a wonderful man. I am not really
good at this, but I know that it will let me read more so I will do it. I
love to read. My best friends in life are my books. As an army brat my
life changed all of the time, but my books always went with me. When I
didn't know anyone and felt all alone in the world they were there for
me. Now I am using my books to meet new people and make "real" friends.
You know, ones that will talk back outside of my head. During this
wonderful thing called RomCon I met Emily and we decided that together
we were going to share our love of books. What kind of books you ask?
Well I read every kind, but especially YA and romance. All types of
romance from the cute and cuddly to the erotic have great dreams kind.
Be sure to stop by and say hi. If you have a book that you want us to
check out just let us know.
Happy Reading,
Stacy
