Existence Series by Abbi Glines

What happens when you're stalked by Death? You fall in love with him, of course.

Pagan Moore doesn't cheat Death, but instead, falls in love with him.
Seventeen year old Pagan Moore has seen souls her entire life. Once she realized the strangers she often saw walking through walls were not visible to anyone else, she started ignoring them. If she didn't let them know she could see them, then they left her alone. Until she stepped out of her car the first day of school and saw an incredibly sexy guy lounging on a picnic table, watching her with an amused smirk on his face. Problem is, she knows he's dead.

Not only does he not go away when she ignores him, but he does something none of the others have ever done. He speaks. Pagan is fascinated by the soul. What she doesn't realize is that her appointed time to die is drawing near and the wickedly beautiful soul she is falling in love with is not a soul at all.

He is Death and he's about to break all the rules

Pagan has always been able to see ghosts. It is a secret she hides from the world by ignoring them. Now something different has happened, one actually talked to her. They aren't supposed to talk. EVER!! He follows her around and soon she starts to have feelings for him. You aren't supposed to have feelings for a ghost so she naturally thinks that she is going nuts. Then the best distraction in the world falls into her lap. The captain of the football team and high school heart throb, Leif, falls for her and asks her out. Unfortunately when she finally starts to like him, he hurts her and she is in a horrible car crash. Of course Leif feels awful and they get together. She tries to ignore the ghost stalking her but is unable to focus on her boyfriend without thinking of the ghost. Then he turns up in her school and everyone can see him. How is that freakin' possible? Well he is also a rock god named Dank Walker. After witnessing a car crash she goes into shock and is diagnosed with PTSD and sent to an asylum where she meets Gee. More about Gee in the second book.
Dank has a secret that he can't share. He is Death, yes THE death. He has been stalking Pagan because her time is up. He is sent to pull her soul out of her body after a car crash and can't do it. Death has fallen in love with a mortal. He uses his human persona, Dank Walker, to enter into her school and get to know her better. He watches her during the day as a human and then uses his ghostly persona to keep watch at her at night. Dank knows that the Deity isn't happy with him for breaking the rules. He keeps an eye out for messengers that keep coming after Pagan while trying to keep her in the dark. Soon he has to tell her the truth, and pray that she can still love him while knowing what he is.
This book started it all for me. I started reading the love story between Dank and Pagan is heart warming and very intriguing. Read the whole book in one sitting. I am now officially addicted.

You would think after helping save her boyfriend from an eternity in Hell that things would go back to normal. Well, as normal as life can be when you can see souls and your boyfriend is Death. But for Pagan Moore, things are just getting weirder.

The high school quarterback and reigning heartthrob, Leif Montgomery, is missing. While the town is in a frenzy of worry, Pagan is a nervous wreck for other reasons. Apparently good ‘ole Leif isn’t your average teenage boy. He isn’t even human. According to Death, Leif doesn’t have a soul. The quarterback may have skipped town but he’s still showing up in Pagan’s dreams... uninvited.

Dank has known from the beginning Leif wasn’t human. But he hadn’t worried about a simple soulless creature. Now, he realizes he made a grave mistake. Pagan’s soul has been marked since birth as a restitution, to a spirit so dark not even Death walks near it. Dank knows saving Pagan’s soul won’t be easy but Pagan is his. And he’s already proven he’ll defy Heaven to keep her. If Hell wants a piece of him too, then bring it on.

For this second book we really got to watch the love story unfold. The deity is so not happy. They are officially dating and all seems right with the world. One little thing though. Leif has disappeared and keeps popping up in Pagan's dreams. I know right?!?! Turns out he wasn't what he seemed either. He is a freaking voodoo prince of the underworld and has a claim on Pagan's soul. There isn't much that I can tell you except read it. If I tell you anything else then it will spoil the whole book. Plus if you have committed a crime and not read the first book then I don't want to ruin it.

"She was mine. I owned her soul…until Death stole her heart."

LEIF is a novella from the Existence series. It is glimpses into Leif's point-of-view during both Existence and Predestined. Also, each digital copy of LEIF has a free download for Dank Walker (AKA Death) newest song Closer, which you can listen to here: Closer

Leif, this is a book told from his perspective for all of the events of book one and two. So worth reading. It shows you what kind of life he has lived and where he is really coming from.

Can he make her fall in love with him… again?

When Pagan Moore proved worthy of Death’s devotion, he was given the gift of getting to keep her.

But Dank was never promised that Pagan would keep him.

When a soul is created, so is its mate. In every lifetime those souls find each other. They complete the other’s destiny. It’s time for Pagan’s soul to choose if she truly wants an eternity at Death’s side or if she wants the mate created just for her.

Dank didn’t think he had to worry about her choice. He knew where her heart belonged. Until he realized that every kiss, every touch, every moment of their time together would be washed from her memories. He would have to win her heart all over again and prove to her soul that he was where she belonged.

If only her soul’s mate wasn’t right there standing in his way.

Book three was the topper in this cake. Death is allowed to keep Pagan as his own. He has earned it from the first two books. Only thing is she can't remember him. The whole love story has been erased from her memory and he has to win her love all over again. I cried at the end of this book. I know I'm such a baby but I was so worried that ..... crap I can't tell you. Just read the damn book and tell me what you thought.
